The whole album mellow but still kinda paced, its really easy to kick back and relax to. It takes you to its own mellow place filled with thought and feeling, hands down recommend it to those that enjoy folk-ish, or easier type music.

Magpies is the second album from Napoleon, the solo moniker of Simon Mills who rose to prominence in the early 00's with UK electronic duo Bent.
The wistful, left-field yet affectionate feel of Magpies is akin to Bent's early releases with its intricate blending of soft electronic music and vintage sampling, sonically reflecting Mills' new surroundings in a remote and windswept rural Ireland.

'No further ahead than today' is full of energy and it always listen at it smiling :-) 'Melts Into Air (Yppah Remix)' has a lot of wonderful details. 'Water Under The Bridge' carries Schnauss wonderful sequenced magic. Would love an extended version! 'Illusory Sun (Dave DK Remix)'. Not bad, dub & dynamic vibes here.
